Secret State (2012).

(via rox712)

I didn’t know what to do with that feeling. Happiness… But they know now and they’re hungry. Really fucking hungry! Because, for as long as I know, they’ve been chasing me. And now they’re ready, now they’re strong enough to break through. And I can’t fight them. I used to be able to when I was strong but… you’ve made me weak. And now I can’t, I can’t.

it’s John and Mary’s year anniversary and they have a small get together in 221B to celebrate and Harry turns up and she hangs round with Sherlock for most of it in silence but finally she says “you’re in love with my brother, aren’t you?” and Sherlock blinks a few times and asks how she knew and she gives him such a sad smile and replies with “you look at him the way he looked at you before you ‘died’”

Imagine stabbing someone with this knife.

It would instantly cauterize the would, so the person wouldn’t bleed, so it’s not very useful.

if you want information it is

and above, in order, we see a gryffindor, a ravenclaw, and a slytherin

why would you stab a PERSON when you can have TOAST?

There’s the hufflepuff

Finished commission for thewiggleofjudas.
For their two part series Sussex, in which Sherlock decides that it’s time for them both to retire to the countryside. John, however, is not so sure.
This is one of my favorite tellings of their journey from those days of uncertainty, up to the long-awaited and long-elusive clinching moment of certainty. IMO, this John and Sherlock are both spot-on, especially in their tendency to say but a little and mean so much. DO go read it!

sherlock & vicki

Sherlock’s face during this entire scene was priceless.

If I don’t reblog Vicky I’m probably dead.

I love how, at every turn, Sherlock is thrown, even if just for a moment, by Vicki’s answers.  He knows that somehow she fits the pattern, but she’s challenging all of his immediate perceptions of what the pattern is.  She’s not, by her exterior, immediately deduce-able (though I imagine after a half second of thought Sherlock’s response is always, “Oh, yes, obvious.”  I love that this woman is presented on the surface as older (and still single, oh the horror!), with wrinkles and roots showing, working a “menial” job as a maid, and not only is she the kinkiest and perhaps most self-analytical woman in the bunch (I STILL want to hear all 10 of her Ideal Man criteria) but also the outlier and the continual wrench in each of Sherlock’s theories.

I will never not want to know more, see more and hear more from Vicki.

I would like a whole show about Vicki plzkthx.
